What’s Coming to Netflix This Week (June 17th to 23rd)

It’s going to be a much quieter week on Netflix than normal but that’s no problem as we’ve been absolutely spoiled as of late. Let’s break down all the new additions that are confirmed to be coming to Netflix from June 17th to June 23rd, 2019.

Let’s take you through some of the highlights of what’s coming to Netflix this week:
Shooter (Season 3)
Netflix Release Date: Friday, June 21st
Among the many Netflix Originals which will be releasing on Friday is the third and final season of USA Network’s Shooter. The series which is based on both the book and the movie adaptation of the same name arguably was cut off during its peak. Season 3 sees Bob Lee Swagger kidnapped and a team is set up to save him.
Beats (2019)
Neflix Release Date: Wednesday, June 19th
There are two movies releasing in 2019 with the name of Beats but this one is releasing on Netflix globally on Wednesday. The movie sees a young musician recovering from the loss of his sister while trying to break into the industry.
Beats has been directed by Chris Robinson and features the talents of Anthony Anderson, Uzo Aduba (OITNB) and Paul Walter Hauser.
Multiple Neon Genesis Titles
Netflix Release Date: Friday, June 21st
The incredibly popular and influential anime Neon Genesis will be coming to Netflix on Friday with multiple titles. The arrival of the Neon Genesis titles has been long awaited with news coming back in November 2018 that multiple titles would be licensed by Netflix.
Here are the three titles on the way to Netflix:
- The End of Evangelion
- EVANGELION: DEATH (TRUE)
- Neon Genesis Evangelion
Dark (Season 2) Netflix Original Series
Netflix Release Date: Friday, June 21st
The mind-bending Netflix German drama returns on Friday for another likely confusing season that’s often compared to the likes of The OA. We’ve also got good news for the future of the show as its been confirmed that season 3 of Dark has already been renewed and due to wrap up the story in 2020.
If you’re brand new to the show, the show is about the disappearance of two young children and four families coming together in a town with a slight supernatural problem.
